Naban is one of the two ports in Koh Larn island ( the other one is Tawaen) which you can reach from Bali Hai Pier in Pattaya city by scheduled ferries, tourist boats and speed boats. The ferry journey costs only 30THB and takes around 45 minutes seen as more and more popular to tourists especially backpackers. I highly recommend you the choose Naban as your destination for outward journey and Tawaen for your return one to Pattaya for there are many bike rental shops in Naban where you can get a motorbike or scooter at the cost of 200 - 300 THB depending on your bargaining power to make a ride around the island to seven beautiful and pristine beaches namely Ta Yai, Tong Lang, Tawaen, Tien, Thian, Samae, Nual as well as several more scenic views along the route. The distances between the beaches and view points are not long just about 3-5km therefore it takes you approximately 3 hours to explore the whole island by bike. Then you can return the bike at Naban and walk for 1.2km following a path you can find on Google map to get to Tawaen beach where you can enjoy a great swimming experience and catch the ferry from Tawaen port to get back Pattaya.
