Kaufingertor Passage München

Don't get your hopes up that this place is a real mall, but it's has about 30 stores or so, and a good variety, but mainly clothing stores. To be honest, it's nicely decorated so its good for instagramers, but it's a pretty typical mall.

Lots.of variety of shops. In Christmas time the decoration is fantastic. Since this is covered one can enjoy shopping even in bad weather.

Kaufingertor Passage is a 70-metre long arcade style shopping space not far from Marienplatz in the Old Town. Shops seem to be open from approximately 10 am to 8pm daily. You'll find a handful of retail shops and a couple places to eat or grab a coffee. We liked the interesting hanging butterfly decorations and glass ceiling of the passage, which allows natural light to filter down to the ground floor. Overall, probably not a critical place to include for most visitors to Munich but Kaufingertor Passage adds well to the shopping experience along Kaufingertor Strasse - Neuhauser Strasse and is potentially worth ducking in for a visitor during your time in Munich.
