The staff is very helpful and friendly. The produce is good quality, but limited. Too many customers have no consideration for others and don't wear masks indoors during a pandemic. Fortunately, there are other grocery stores that try to look out for the health of their customers.

The Fresh Market is Myrtle Beach's answer to, where is Whole Foods? It's a small, high quality chain that provides niche foods at a high price. Often, we go there to find rare or hard-to-source items for cooking -- ginger root extract or rare gluten-free brands. To purchase weekly groceries there is a bit prohibitive cost wise. Their quality and service is impeccable. You'll find more variety of apples (which I needed for recipe) and potatoes than other local grocery stores. They produce a lot of their products as well and they are good. There are prepackaged produce and bakery items that are delicious as well. Consider their bakery for your annual party. And, they lots of local or region wines and other items for purchase.
Got a rack of baby back ribs. Best I ever ate. People are friendly and knowledgeable. They usually have at least one strange fruit I can get and broaden my horizons. Always good.
If Aldi and whole foods had a baby this would be it.Some really healthy finds, delicious bakery section,nice meat selection,good veggies,really nice salads BUT just because its there one day doesn't mean it will be there the next time you go.Rosemary Yukon fries may not be there on the next visit.
I was visiting from West coast when I am in town I generally stop by at Fresh Market to get great variety. I often stop by to get freshly baked goods. I have ordered freshly made fruit tarts that are made in the house on that very day, generally Brittany-Head of Bakery Department helps me out and I just got to say is that one word about her- AMAZING. I often see her working behind diligently behind the counter. She knows her pastry very well, and she understands what you really need on the cake, tart. She just loves helping out to people. It is not only for me but also for the other customers that I have witness. Fresh market is doing VERY GOOD JOB to have Brittany on their them. It is a great market but also great hospitality whenever you go there. Exceptionally amazing!
