Very disappointed that this morning I have called for an appointment as I have toothache to be informed that I have been taken off the NHS scheme as I have not been to the dentist for sometime. I explained that I has tried to get an appointment about 6 months ago but staff at the practice talked me out of the appointment, also my family appointments was cancelled due to COVID. I have NEVER received a letter or message telling me I had lost my place. I tried to talk to the practice manager but the staff would not put me through. I will now make a formal complaint. I have been with the practice for over ten years and very disappointed that loyalty gets you no consideration. They were happy to give me a private appointment at a huge cost! Had a call back, they had reviewed my account and have put me back on the NHS account, thank you.
My daughter went here a couple of years ago to have a check up, the dentist already had everything laid out and once she was in the chair we realised he was about to start a root canal! Scarred her and she is now a nervous patient with the dentist for life! unacceptable.
I hadn’t visited the dentist in 2 years due to serious illness which was explained to the dentist. My teeth were in pretty good shape considering and all that was needed was a good clean. My dentist gave suggestions to improve my dental hygiene to what I was already doing. All staff friendly and polite. All costs explained in great detail and any medical issues discussed with you face to face. I am happy with the treatment received and will continue to go back for future appointments.
Luckily they were taking on new local patients. Very impressed by the location, parking, reception and were very friendly and helpful. Nice easy process and paying upfront for a dental check is an excellent idea to ensure commitment and reduce non-attendance. Nice waiting room fresh modern clean feel. Called through and my dentist was lovely great process and explained everything thoroughly. Felt they were genuinely interested and cared for throw patients. Free water being available and relevant products to dental in reception both good ideas and liked getting an instant printed appointment for 9 months time. Also really found the email, text reminders and courtesy call helpful in the week and days leading up to the appointment. The ‘mydentist smile checker’ provides you with information about other treatments offered which I wasn’t aware of. 5 stars all round! Thank you, from a very happy patient/customer.
