A very beautiful place where the ethnography typical of the area of \u200b\u200bthe past is kept. We arrived at 4 pm, and although it was written on the internet that it is open, we were guided by the neighborhood of the area to enter a house, because the owner lives there and he will definitely help us. Unfortunately we were refused by the owner and we were very disappointed. We later went to visit a small wooden church in the area, not to mention that we hit the road in vain, and when we returned we met the owner's wife, who is a very nice and very open person. Obviously he came and took us on a tour of the museum, explaining every bit of the respective location. I recommend with confidence this place.

Lovely old lady who explains in Romanian traditional tools and handicrafts. Have fun weaving your own piece of hemp cloth and buy authentic souvenirs if you want.

A must-see in your trip in Maramures. Located in Ieud, this tiny house hosts a lot of tradition and history. Ms. Ioana shows everybody how things were done and made back in the old days. This place is a chapter from a history book of Romanian culture and traditions!
