A fantastic museum about the conquer of space from mankind. The good thing is that it mentions other nations involved, like USA that landed 1st on the moon, so it's not negativity focused only on Russian success. Has a great number of replicas but also authentic spacecrafts and equipment, and a simulator in the entrance of it, which you shouldn't pay to try! It's probably the worst I've ever tried, and should be removed or replaced by one with decent graphics!

Enjoyed my visit and I got to see the first dogs that went to space and came back! Or at least their bodies. It’s definitely an impressive display, especially for a first time visitor to Russia. I got to visit with a group of students and they seemed to enjoy it as well.

Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics is a must see landmark in Moscow. It is very interesting and excited for every one. It will tell the full story of space race between USSR and US. It highlights the most brightest moments in Russian history and humanity. Tip: It better to read briefly about the Soviet Space Program in order to understand the timeline of the museum displays. The museum located in suburban away from Moscow center. You can reach there by the tour bus using yellow route. Spare enough time to enjoy the museum experience.

Definitely worth a trip. Admission is very reasonable (250 rubles). Beautiful from the outside and a good number of displays inside. I would have loved to have spent more time there. Would definitely visit again. Many of the signs had English translation, which was very helpful!

Rather traditional, but very well organized, covers (mostly) Russian efforts into space discovery. I loved the real size ships, clothes and other equipment all around you, put things into perspective. I would recommend going a bit early, a lot of students invaded the place it can be a bit crowded. You will need about two hours to get well enough scope.

Awesome! If you want to learn about Russian aerospace history, don’t go to Wikipedia. There’s no better place to see incredible technology and strength of the Russian spirit than at Russian space museums. In the museum, you basically walk through rooms containing artifacts from mock up space stations, a whole range of satellites to personal belongings of cosmonauts and scientist. You can see exhibits testifying the first achievements and success of national space exploration, including the first spacesuits, the first artificial satellites of the Earth, spacecraft for Moon exploration and exploration of other planets of the solar system. Really special place. The entrance to the museum costs 250 rubles. These are bought in the same ticket offices of the museum (usually there are not many people waiting in line). You can visit the museum in a couple of hours. Most of the signs are in English & Russian so this museum is really accessible. I recommend highly.
