One of the most authentic Japanese restaurants in Charlotte. Reminds me of being in Japan! Staff are very friendly. Place is a little small, but it is definitely worth the wait. Prices are more than fair and you get a lot of food. Highly recommend!

First time at this restaurant. The food was delicious, authentic and made to order. My wife and I came during the dinner service. We arrived 10 minutes before the restaurant opened and a line was already10 people deep. Needless to say, get there early. To help your situation when eating here, have your order ready. Cook time and the rush of all the tables getting orders in, there was a wait. But worth it when your food gets to you table. We ordered the pork shumai and shrimp tempura with vegetables for appetizers. The shumai got to our table after our entrées. Not a big deal to me. Everthing was hot and fresh, so that for me negated that misstep. I'm sure the food comes like clockwork after the initial rush settles down. We had Tonkotsu ramen for my wife, Miso ramen for myself, and an order of Tonkotsu to share. All the food was great. Nice portions, well seasoned, cooked well, and delicious. The restaurant staff were friendly and accommodating to my wife and me. Overall a great experience for my first time at this establishment. I've been to many Japanese restaurants and this place is on the higher end of places I've been to. I highly recommend this place.
Best sushi place in clt hand down, me and my girlfriend feel so welcome and the foods was out of this world. Feel like I was actually in Japan! One last thing they have a bidet in the bathroom! I would give this a 10/10 stars!! Definitely coming back for sure!!
This is the best sushi in Charlotte and its not even close! The freshness of their food is something to behold. Do yourself a favor and order some gyoza with your sushi rolls. On the walls of the restaurant, you'll find a hall of fame of pro athletes who have visited and it is no wonder why.
Excellent food, great atmosphere, good prices! It felt like I was back in Japan. I'm very excited to go back and try more of their food.
