Murdoch Brothers Butchers, 10-12 High Street, Forres, Moray, IV36 1DB, Scotland are Scotch Pie World Championship Winners! Established 1916 they offer quality products through their Forres High Street shop and (thankfully) also online. We're an exiled Scot based in England, and thrilled to receive a home delivery today of Scotch Pies and \Bridies\ securely packaged & safely arrived. Small world, eh?
Excellent service from Murdochs. My first delivery was spoilt due to no fault of the butcher, courier error. They immediately dispatched my order again which has arrived today!! Looking forward to sampling the lovely pies, sausage and haggis.
The pies are reasonable but not as good as I was lead to believe by some people. The meat however is of a very high quality and the staff are terrifically helpful and polite.
Best pies in Scotland, pure and simple. Such a shame we cant buy them here in Edinburgh, I really miss them.
