Ate here 3/5 nights, group of 4 females. Staff are lovely! Ergen Abey and others work hard. Love the fact it was 24 hours. We sat outside for hours eating chicken kebab and turkish tea. (Highly recommend!) Owner Azad so welcoming and friendly did his utmost to make us feel welcome. Food is tasty, wholesome authentic, staff willing to go extra mile, great spot for people watching and the tea is out of this world! Can't wait to visit again! Nice place to pop in for a breakfast soup- I had the tripe. The service was fast if impersonal, and the soup was delicious if not especially visually appealing. Came with a basket of grilled bread and appropriate vegetable seasonings.
This place is a hidden gem of Istanbul,, very small and poorly curated but the food is so traditionally good and so Turkish... Totally worth it
i came to this restaurant after checking it's reviews. İf you have other options, don't choose this place. This place has the most mediocre tripe soup I have ever tried. This should be seen as an achievement since it is hard to make a mediocre tripe soup. And the soup was 18tl, which is extremely overpriced. Bugüne kadar içtiğim en kötü işkembe corbasiydi. 18tl ye değecek bir çorba değil. Aşırı pahalı.
It’s like the Bay Area, but 2x as many people and 2x the geographical size. AND public transportation that doesnt suck!
