Murasaki is awesome. By far my favorite place in Streeterville. It’s in an odd location, kind of tucked away in the building but once you’re inside it has a great vibe to it. They have an extensive menu of Japanese whiskey, mixed drinks, and even some food. They play anime on a TV and on Fridays (or Saturday nights-I can’t remember) they play Japanese throwback music. You have to check Murasaki out if you’re in the area. Try one of the green tea cocktails, the less sweet one with tea is amazing

They are so nice, and they speak both English and fluent Japanese. If you like Japanese film, TV, anime or J-Pop you might meet an international film star or musician there. It's cozy, clean and has excellent service.

Great selection of sake and whisky but I would highly suggest not to eat here. I kinda can't believe a Japanese owned place can serve hard boiled eggs in the ramen. Everything in the ramen is super average. The atmosphere is cool though. Go for drinks and karaoke.
