I am glad that I visited this restaurant during my short stay in Mumbai. This is especially good for someone who has limited knowledge as to how to order food in India - this is my first meal after arriving the hotel at night. Excellent food (of course there are a few dishes that aren't that great but net-net I'm really satisfied) and good service/environment. Nice!

Nawab Saheb as the name suggests it’s a luxurious fine dine restaurant located in the basement of Renaissance Powai. This place was in my wish list since a very long time. I was amazed by the interiors and ambience of the place. The place can accommodate around 100 people at a time. This place has maintained not just the standards but also taste of the food. The staff was very welcoming and warm with hospitality. Nawab Saheb is a gastronomical journey for those exploring the ageless Royal Mughlai and North Indian Cuisine. The menu boasts of different menus such as Mix & Match, Seafood, Non-Vegetarian, Vegetarian and Jain options. Also, they have A-La-Carte menu. All these are eloquently curated by their Chef. We started with Mix & Match Platter. The following dishes were adorned in the Platter. Appetizers: Nawabi Aloo Ki Nazakat Chef Yunus Khan Ka Paneer Dhuan Achari Lobster Jheenga-e- Nisha Akbari Murg Tikka Shahi Gilawat Kebab Mains: Awadhi Paneer Korma Makhamali Jheenga Mahi Dum Qaliyan Lagan Hara Murg Potli Nihari Dal Nawab Saheb Gosht Awadhi Biryani Desserts: They have a dessert buffet in which you will get many Indian desserts. So, if you’re fan of Indian desserts it’s a perfect end to your meal. Overall, a brilliant experience with the expertise in culinary world. Food: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Décor: 5/5 Value for Money: 5/5 P.S: The review is strictly depending on my personal experience.

One of the best dining place in Mumbai that offers authentic Indian food. Ambience was classy and you get a feel of nawabi tradition. Very friendly and respectful. Great Evening. The food was outstanding and the kulfi was to die for. Thank you for a great experience. The chef also gave us sampler for stuffed paneer and dal makhani which is very delicious. Amazing food, excellent service. Certainly visiting again.

Ambience states the royalty of the restaurant. The Restaurant that serves Indian authentic cuisine, it can be divied in to four segments. The vegetarian, the non veg the sea food and mix and match food. Prices are logical according to the star rating of the hotel. Portions are absolutely more than enough. For a meal for two you will spend anything from 4 to 4.5 k depending on the choice of food ordered. The drink menus is awesome and one can get anything that money can buy. If you are in town till 7 April 2019 you must visit Nawab Saheb to enjoy authentic Rajasthani food and live Rajasthani music and dance festival Meal for one is priced at 2800/- for festival ( unlimited)

Visited Nawab Saheb @ Renaissance hotel in Powai to enjoy their Tawa & Tandoor Festival from 20th to 28th September. USP :- Mouth watering starters, delicious main course, yummy desserts & refreshing mocktails will surely make you feel like a Nawab. VEG MENU DETAILS Appetisers * Chef Yunus Khan ka Paneer Tikka * Subz ki Ashraphiya * Til Malai ke Phool * Bhune Bhutte ke Sheekh * Kabuli Kebab * Chukundar ke Kebab * Kumbh ke Gilawat * Aloo Atishi Mains * Paneer Kaliyan * Daal Nawab * Subz Biryani Dessert * Rice Phirni * Gulab Jamun * Kaju Katli * Anjeer Barfi * Motichoor Laddu Mocktails * Cranberry Mojito * Guava Cranberry Mocktail INSIGHTS The Chef was kind enough to share few insights about the menu curated for this festival. The Tandoor dishes were made in desi ghee but not a single drop of excess ghee was visible on the platter. Kudos The 5-6 starters dint seem to overfill our tummy which was great as we could enjoy the main course & dessert equally. Papad was served with three variants of chutney which were - mint, imli & roasted tomato Paneer is made in house, hence contains less fat, is softer & tastier. Tandoor items were served with beetroot dressing which was yummy Paneer Kaliyan, Daal Makhani were irresistible& Veg biryani was delightful. To end our meal we headed to the dessert Counter where you could choose from phirni, Gulab Jamun, kaju katli, sheera etc VERDICT Felt like a Nawab as they spoilt me with scrumptious food, beautiful decor, soothing ambience & top notch hospitality from the entire staff management. A special thank you to the Chef & our table servers Mr Piyush & Akshay for making our dinner experience worthwhile.
