Have ordered from a couple of regular restaurants for years, however unfortunately they were closed. I ordered a takeaway for myself and my daughter. I knew from the first mouthful that this was of poor quality as there was more fat than meat, my daughter had a vegetarian meal and mentioned that it tasted like it came from a pack of frozen veg We were both unable to eat much of it (this is very rare for us because we love Indian food and have never had a bad one) I had a night from hell with unbearable pains and was very ill I called them the next day and in a friendly manner I informed them of our bad experience, I suggested they may need to check their food hygiene practice. I spoke to a man who was very defensive even though I was being friendly. He couldn't care less , this is my first time to complain and was very shocked with the whole experience

Mixed reviews on this venue As I am only two bus stops away it was quicker to get the meal home myself rather than have it delivered. Nice food and hot, not Luke warm like other places when I got back home again Good choice on offer as to what to have
We order curries on a regular basis, but I never write a review But just had a curry from this restaurant via Deliveroo. It was tasteless and poor quality and very over price for what was delivered. Not even a bit of salad to go with the starters. Really not sure how they got a 5 star review on Deliveroo. Please do not waste your money ..... it’s not stars from me!
My Wife and I have used Mumbai Kitchen for home delivery many times and always enjoyed quick delivery and good tasting food.
