This restaurant always has very tasty seafood and its always very fresh. I recommend the pomfret Thekkady and the prawn Gassi. Most of the dishes were very good, especially the fish but all the meat I tried was also very tasty. The service was very good. staff is friendly. A great Mangalorian food place. Lovely food and ambience. Must visit this restaurant.

The seafood here is amazing. We had ordered Rawas karwari curry, appam and steam rice. The food was delicious. A must visit from every seafood lover.

Have visited this place often in the past ... Nice selection of seafood ... Pan fried surmai, pomfret gassi with neer dosa was good. Fried Bombay ducks could have been more softer ...they were too crisp (tasted more of batter less of the bombay duck) ... All in all will surely recommend.

Located in the inner lanes of fort area, Ankur is a good destination for coastal, Manglorean type food. Visit on a Sunday when it's less crowded and noisy. Try the Crab Kolkata soup, Squid in red masala and the neer dosa. The restaurant serves alcohol also. Prices are bit on the higher side. Parking is a problem in its vicinity.

The Waiter was very Rude. We appeared at restaurant at 2.50pm He asked to order instantly within as they dont take order after 3.15 and they close by 4 pm in afternoon. " jaldi bolo kya chahiye, sava teen k baad kuch nahi milega." His body language and tone was extremely rude Initially he refused to take order for tandiri pompret saying it takes 20 min to serve .... later on requesting n insiting again he did serve. Since i was with my family. And did not want to jump an hop to another hotel. Quitely tolerated arrongant and rude waiter. The Food was very good. 4/5 Especially tandoori pomfret was fresh and adeqautely cooked to perfect !!!

bar not very well stocked but the food is absolutely yummy. the prawns and butter garlic squids are excellent. will visit again.
