I came to Mueller Industries through a recruiter and got catfished... I ended up leaving the company after 5 months of employment due to unrealistic demands and elevated expectations from the CIO. The work environment was toxic with very dysfunctional management, policies and procedures. There was no leadership at this place whatsoever. It did not take long to figure out that the company’s culture and values did not fit my expectations. I was expected to do things that required specific training and none was provided; they had no idea what they wanted out of me and my position. Overall, I am glad it didn't take long for me to leave because my mental health was by far more important than dealing with the previous CIO’s natural inability to show proper leadership. Update: the CIO I mentioned above was removed from that role shortly after I left the company. Good for Mueller.
