Good Priced & Tasty Old School Biscuits and Breakfast. Friendly staff, very country. Parking can be a pain.and seats go fast even in Pandemic times, plus they have limited hours of morning and lunch, so plan accordingly. They actually know how to cook hash properly and serve liver pudding, so I dig 'em ;)

The breakfasts are wonderful and the prices can't be beat! I love a small town diner and this hits the spot. Seat yourself, quick service, coffee refilled often, locals, and Sanford/NC proud. I always enjoy going out to eat here and love the history behind the place. I highly recommend Mrs. Wenger's!

My dad and I love this place!!! There are few things as delicious to a true Southerner as fatback biscuits and Mrs. Wenger's are the BEST! 1.75 per biscuit can't be beat. But, alas, I'm on the low-carb band wagon and this was a happy substitute for my favorite fatback biscuits. I ordered two eggs, a side of fatback, and tomato slices...create your own meal. The food and service were as good as ever, with a price that can't be beat. Thanks, Daddy, for breakfast!
