Don't expect any actual beef in the hot \beef pie\. Unless the one over-braised piece of rump about the size of my fingernail was supposed to count. Expect more for 4 pounds...
One of the best pork pies that I have ever eaten. Good value for money.
Delicious pork pies with high welfare meat. Regularly get them from the Nottingham cheese shop.
The most fantastic pork pies that I have ever had the pleasure of eating. They aren't cheap, but they are a different beast to the mass produced supermarket \Melton Mowbary\ pork pies (mostly made in factories on the outskirts of Leicester). The meat is firm and tasty, lightly spiced, not too much pepper or nutmeg. The jelly is delicious, the pastry is perfect. Borough market is my normal source which is a shame as I don't live anywhere near there now.
