First impressions of this place very nice, seated at table asked for christmass turkey, don't do after exmass, then asked for a roast beef to be told sorry we don't do,, all heart to wee girl that served us with cokes, was very disappointed with this, or we wouldn't ordered cokes, so got upto leave an owner/manager Apolagised very nice to me, an said it was OK, but as I said to her I didn't come in here to get somthing for nothing (maybe was way we were dressed) but insisted an paid for coke, but have been back sinse an had a beautiful breakfast and was delicious, so was well pleased, only fault could see was design off tables, (and very hard to clean as a wee wipe over doesn't get rid of food in joints ) but yes will go back

My partner and I have now succumbed to Mrs Howat's Vintage Pantry, more than once.... A fantastic place filled with all sorts of old memorabilia, beautiful stenciled tables to sit at and food to die for! A really extensive menu, from a full breakfast to gorgeous cakes and the range of cheesecakes are to die for. Such happy lovely staff, nothing is too much trouble. Order some sandwiches and cake and it will arrive in an old fashioned sewing box beautifully arranged. Tables can be reserved if you want them to be. The music is fantastic, and you can sit and look at all of the unusual bits and Bob's in the coffee shop. I can't recomend Mrs Howat's highly enough. Drop in and enjoy the food and the fabulous atmosphere.

Absolutely terrible service. Ordered a x2 wraps, a burger and a baguette to be delivered and we have waited nearly 2 hours for delivery!!! We phoned and they said it would ‘just be coming’ nearly an hour ago. Won’t be ordering again.

Twice I have been here and on both occasions the food was less than acceptable. Soup was under cooked. At least this time I didn't have to pay. Have not been back since. This is only my opinion. I have no doubt that other have better to report.
