The food is great. I’m giving them a 1 star because they don’t mandate masks. I went yesterday and there were 4-6 people in the waiting area with no masks from different parties ! The staff didn’t say anything to them. There was one staff member by the register and he wasn’t even wearing a mask. He spoke with me and didn’t have a mask on. People walked from their table to the exit door without a mask too. I was in shock ! It’s so upsetting to see that the staff aren’t strict with their “mask policy”. I lost my respect for this place and will be driving to Charlotte to their location instead.

This one compared to the one in N. Charlotte is not as updated, especially the bathroom, which didn't have a changing table. We were seated much sooner than anticipated and got our food a lot faster. We appreciated the consistency in the food. Our waitress was pleasant but the other girls seemed tired and robotic (it was near closing).
Mr Tokyo never disappoints! The food is fantastic and the service is just as great. I have been to many Japanese restaurants serving sushi and this is up there with the best of them! Can't beat all you can eat for 21 made to order fresh food!
Definitely recommend eating here! The customer service is great, and the food is even better.
One of our favorite sushi restaurants! We love coming here and the manager/owner remembers us every time we go. Staff has been very good, even when they first opened up. I think only one time we had an issue with our waiter, but I haven't seen that person there since that time. Food is always fresh and tastes amazing. Our 5 year old daughter even named one of her stuffed animals Mr. Tokyo!
