Really disappointing. Used to be brilliant, but delivery ordering now awful. Ordered food at 7.30, after three hours of chasing, including being lied to on the phone reassuring it was coming, only finally to be told it wasn’t three hours late. Left with no food at 10.30. Used to be a lovely family restaurant, now just awful cynical take away. Avoid at all costs.

Mr. Mangal is by far the best Turkish restaurant in Norwich now, first time I tried it was ok but I still rated Mediterranean above it. However, since I’ve been back there several times and every time it’s been perfect, I put the first time experience down to then opening brand new and struggling and I guess most new restaurants take a bit to settle down so it’s always better to give new places a second chance and I’m glad I did. Nowadays sometimes I drop by just for bread and hummus if I need a quick snack or when the wife fancies a meal out this is perfect, also child friendly. The owner Husein is the chef and a very friendly guy, highly recommend this place.
Absolutely amazing food! Succulent and juicy pieces of lamb and chicken. The service was lovely too. Ordered the platter and there was plenty of food. The bread that was given was really tasty and authentic. The atmosphere and setting felt like I was in Turkey. It's ashame that they're so far away from me otherwise I would be a regular to this place! Highly recommended!
Ordered on JustEat. Lukewarm food. Delivered late (est was 40 minutes. Ended up being 1hr 40 minutes. Delivered with a cheeky 'knowing' grin. Staggered they have such a high rating - perhaps an off night. But never again for me
Fantastic food, best Turkish restaurant in Norwich. Staff really friendly and really helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Would recommend.
