Drove to Galleywood Common for some fresh air and got hungry. A quick google led us to Mr. Fish. They were just closing but were happy to serve me. Best chips I've had in a long time and they even threw in 2 small bits of Cod for free that I presume were going to go to waste. Would highly recommend Mr. Fish

Love this chip shop! I would say the best in Chelmsford, miles better than the other local one in Moulsham Lodge, we regularly use Mr Fish, the food is cooked to order (you can ring your order in), the staff are really friendly, never had a problem with the food or service offered, I would 100% recommend Mr Fish at Galleywood.

I’m Pretty Impressed!!! So I visited this place yesterday evening to grab some food and I must say that I was pretty impressed with how clean and tidy the place looks, food looked fresh and with a good verity of products. Chips where nice and fresh, large cod was lightly buttered and crispy, the ribs were delicious too. Attentive and friendly staff with a good level of professionalism, great food and perhaps one of if not the cleanest fish and chips takeaways I’ve been to in this town. Well done to this house. Definitely recommend and most definitely be back.
