Been going here for many, many years. Those who know, know. Food is always served fresh and it’s all halal. Everyone is always friendly and the atmosphere is great. The drinks are on the pricey side. But hands down, best fish and chips you can get in London. I say that with confident. I always get the spicy battered fish, never disappoints.
We had Cod and Chips and they were Absolutley delicious, the batter was nice and crispy like it should be and the chips were nice and thick. The only downside was that the service could have been better and I initially thought of giving this place a four star purely on the service as the food is a five star all day long. After talking to the staff I discovered that they only reopened yesterday after a big Refurb and they were still a bit wet under the feet, so I gave them the benefit of doubt and five stars it is and hopefully the service will improve in the coming weeks. I also like to add that the decor is really nice and they have windows that slide open from wall to wall which must be really nice and refreshing on a hot summers days
The best local fish and chips in the area! We've been coming here for over 10 years and it always delivers. Great chips and tartare. Small note - we've found the battered fish tastes fresher than the crumbed fish recently.
