Plenty of parking at mr chips, wheelchair friendly access and eating area inside and out. A small shop and very clean, and not cluttered. I was suprised to be told when i went up to order my cod, chips and fishcake. That they only accept cash, no card payments. I don't really know any shops now days that still do this?. The food is cooked to order. Depending on how busy the shop is, my food took about 10 minutes for it to be ready. So not bad. But at that time it was quiet. I was the only one there. The order was put in a paper bag. The food was well warped and very hot even after 20 minutes. I hope the picture does it justice. Because it was very nice, the batter on the fish was light and crisp. The fish was well cooked, the chips were crispy on the out side and fluffy inside. The fish cake for me was ever so slightly over cooked but im picky. Over all very lovely food and great service. The workers are very polite and helpful. The price is spot on, the quality of the food is good. My only criticism is the fishcake was slightly over done and that i was very lucky that day i had cash in my wallet. It's time to have a card payment device. Every shop has one. Everybody pays with card. Its quicker and easier. If i didn't have cash, they would of lost a customer. I wonder how many mr chips has lost this way? Yes i would recommend mr chips.

Only just moved to Fakenham in the last month and was the first time I've been there. They were some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Freshly cooked and really tasty, and really polite staff staff that made you feel welcome when I came into the shop. Keep up the good work

Very clean shop, all covid measures in place. Food was excellent. Not greasy, beautifully cooked. Made me a coffee for free as car had broken down.
