I visited this restaurant with my family last year and had an excellent experience. We were the only people there and it felt like a personal experience, although not weird. The staff are polite, kind, helpful and couldn't do enough to accommodate us. The food is very reasonably priced (and I'm a skinflint) and the quality was superb. This is the standard that all fish and chips should be at. Being ocean side, there is also a diverse range of fresh seafood options which were well presented and very tasty. There is parking opposite and it is a great location for a stroll along the river too. Not to be missed if you are visiting the area and wow, the locals are very lucky indeed. I am still thinking about the lovely food a year later and I look forward to bringing my family as soon as I can. Stay safe x

Not on top form on the day I visited. Usually very nice chips but they tasted of burnt fat. Sorry Mr Chips
My wife and I popped into Bideford this morning parked on the Quay as we got out the car, lovely smell of fish and chips, so we did our shopping and it just had to be fish and chips for lunch and what a pleasant surprise the fish and batter were excellent and good old proper chips. Pleasant staff certainly be back Well done guys
Lovely fish and chips. First since lock down, as wife been shielding, so waited for somewhere that wears face musk and gloves while preparing the food, as noticed in other places they are talking to each other over the food, as not wearing a musk. Not clever. So to find someone with common sense was great. Highly recommend. 10/10
