Decided to check out White Buffalo Resort while travelling through the country in an RV. Investigating for future trout fishing guy's trip. Really enjoyed this park. The bluffs along the White River are beautiful. Kind of had the place to ourselves as it was not part of peak season. The folks managing the office were super nice and helpful. I needed WiFi as I was working throughout my RV travels. They rearranged my RV slot, so I would have access to the internet I needed. Appreciated it!

This place had a more old school vibes cost effective and nearby Yellowstone. What shocked me was how spacious the rooms were for the price. The staffs were very nice and helpful, breakfast had some good options and the people I’ve meet there were very nice as well, made a few friends as well.

Finally getting around to writing this review. I have been wanting to for along time. I guess life is crazy and busy for us even in the pandemic though. I stayed bere with my wife and 4 children in July 2020 for a safe quiet getaway and it was a phenomenal experience. The resort was a like a refuge from the pandemic for my family. The cabin was emaculant and spacious. The whole view from back porch of cabin and walk down to the river was gorgeous. At the riverbank, you can relax and listen to the water flow by and breath in the cool fresh air off of the white river. It's like natural air-conditioning in the peak heat of summer. We hung our hammock down there by the river in the cool refreshing breeze, and it was a frequent favorite of our family to sneak a few steps away to for a nap or to read a book. At the river edge, you hardly need to look up as you are overshadowed by these amazing granite like bluffs which are so beautiful to stare at. The staff were extremely helpful and kind to us. We booked some time with their guide Brandon who was outstanding at giving us a head start on how to successfully fish the white river. After that experience, we filled our limit of rainbow trout on every occasion that we went out in our kayaks and floated down to the resort from upstream on the white river. Even caught a few brown trout also but threw them back as they were too small. Kayaking and fishing the white river was such a relaxing and rewarding experience. The fish cleaning station is spacious and the staff gave us pointers on how to cook it. So we had several amazing fish fries with our catches during our stay. Love love love this place! Such oasis from the busy life. The great people there makes it even better. Matt and Kyla and their crew made the experience so special. Will be back for sure! Highly recommended.

One of the best river and camping experiences i have ever had in the state of arkansas, possibly the country. Everything was well kept and clean. No littering to be seen and the grounds are amazingly well kept. The new owner was down to earth and even took time to have a discussion with me. I saw him helping some people find their spot to drop their camper and the utilities are reliable as well as safe. The cabins are comfortable and clean, feeling like a 5 star hotel in an 1800's log cabin. The views were nothing short of awe inspiring and the river was beautiful. The fish were a fun catch and tasted delicious. Everyone in my group caught our limit. The only issue i found with the white buffalo resort was that i cannot give them a 6 stars out of 5.

Outstanding! Such a delightful place! We had a great cabin that had tons of towels and a full kitchen with every utensil imaginable. The cabin and the grounds were very well kept and tidy. We were able to rent a boat and cruise around both rivers. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and knowledgeable. We had a fantastic stay! I would highly recommend this experience.

No wifi, no phone service... It's the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. The cabins are perfect for families to get together. We enjoyed a long weekend with 3 generations. Beautiful scenery, comfortable beds, and we loved the front porch furniture. Trout fishing was great.
