I’ve used MotorAid in Basildon and now Hainault for the last 10 years to service, repair & MOT my successive Mercs. Two other family members also use it for their Ford BTec & CTec. The reception staff (John, Tony & James) are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable & are happy to discuss your car with you. Work is always done on time and to a high standard. They aren’t cheap (they only use manufacturer approved parts) - but still much better value than a main dealer. 100% recommend them! They like to grow a very positive customer relationship with regulars. Give them a go!

Stay away from this place at all cost.I booked my car in for a service,mot and for the driver side window regulator to be changed.I was charged 277 for labour for the service which I think was absolutely bizarre, this was just a basic service. I spoke with the bloke (Tony Romn) at the reception and he tried b*ll crapping me about how it's a major service and had no idea what he was talking about.Replacing the oil filter,air filter and spark plugs is considered to be a basic service not a major service.A major service would have included changing the brake pads as well as the brake fluids and inspecting the vehicle further. This place ripped me literally, no genuine audi spark plugs would cost 4.45, big mistake taking the car to some cowboy german specialist.I usually purchase the parts myself and my mechanic would deal with it.Disappointed they wouldn't even consider buying original parts to do the proper service.Also I was charged 60 for diagnosis for the driver side mirror when they quoted that was the price for it to be fixed.Go here if you want a cowboy job, I'm so disappointed and appalled.Next time I will be better off going to Audi even their fixed basic service price is 170 including labour.Stay away from this place you'll end up paying way more than the quoted price for a cowboy job.

Thank you so much MotorAid for being my only place to go to for my pride & joy SL AMG!! I am a very fussy person when it comes to someone looking after my cars and I needed a garage I could trust, be professional, helpful, patient & more importantly, knowledgeable on my specialist AMG beast. MotorAid ticks all these boxes and I am so thankful for finding them. I have always found them to bend over backwards when I needed something doing, no matter how small or big and I could have faith in leaving the car in their capable hands.
