Inspection has gone intense. Since it is the only MVPI center in the city for the time being, there is massive crowd. Try to come early morning and avoid coming during or immediately after prayer timings. Left three lanes lead to the first hall (only for the small and medium cars) and rest of the lanes on the right lead to the second hall. Sticking to the left lanes is recommended, if applicable. Fee for first inspection for cars is 73 VAT 76.65 SR. For later inspections it is 24 VAT 25.20 SR. If you carry the exact amount or closest amount including coins, you can save yours and others time.
Fahas al dawriya where you test your vehicle and get it renewed your Fahas document. Very very easy process and fast without taking much of your time. Nice and polite people help you with your issues. Keep your car up to date for safety. And is open till 11 at night. Opening timings I dont know
The place looks like far away from city. Must follow gps to reach at exact point. 2 gates and 4 lanes so better to get in shorter one. It will usually take 60 mins waiting and 15 mins inspection time.
I have visited this place after the extending of duty time until 11.00 pm (Sun-Thu) 10.00 pm for Saturday, I spent almost one hour and half for my turn, it was crowded at 4:30 pm, the inspection took less than 10 minutes.
