Guy behind the till was super nice and friendly. We took the jumbo fish and chips (10) which was enough for 2 of us. And also ordered a side of fish fillet, curry sauce and gravy. The best halal place for fish and chips definitely.

I consider Mother Hubbards to be a very good place for fish & chip and more. I visit once a week due to the staff being respectful and they do share manly sized portions. It is very busy with customers on Fridays but that should be expected. (Personal observation: the manger may need some training in customer relations.)

Interestingly just finished my Special Fish butty.. Massive portion and anywhere can do that. But this place does it with quality down to the last bite. Lovley staff. Chatty and helpful
I decided to treat myself after 10 months, I was even cheeky and asked for a nice piece of fish, I came home to find a half coated fish that was literally cremated. The price has gone up and the portion size has decreased considerably. I dislike giving negative reviews but sadly it wasn't my best Mother Hubbard experience.
