Used to be SO good! It was the only place I went to after it first opened - and I was happy to find a place that does Fish that tastes like quality Fish. But since then not only have prices gone way up, the service has gone way down. This is a shame because there was an older lady who worked here that was so nice and went the extra mile to serve you. Since then, you have to ask for a knife and fork, ask for napkins and ask for everything else. I'd go here every Fridays, but can no longer justify constant price hikes or service and haven't visited in a year.

Great fish and chips as usual from this northern family chain big fat chips and a big fish fillet in lovely light batter. We usually go to one in Huddersfield but thought we'd have a drive out and found this one not far from Saville Park in Halifax where we also pulled up to eat it and watch the world go by. At 6.95 for a large fishchips is a steal. Only downside with the actual restaurant although they had seating (couldn't use due to Covid-19) was no toilet. Hence 4*.
