The wife and I traveled to Chicago during the shutdown and stayed at the London House. We noticed Morton’s on the way in and decided to make dinner reservations there. We met the owner, who was extremely welcoming and made sure we have an exceptional experience. The night of our reservation we entered the building, again met by the owner, and promptly seated in the heated tent. The staff was great and very attentive. I highly recommend ordering the NY strip as well as the salmon, both were cooked to perfection as well as the sides which were enough to share. The owner again came and spoke to us and made sure we had an excellent dining experience. It’s very easy to spend 200 when going to a steakhouse, but our experience and the food at Morton’s was worth every dollar. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back next time we are in town.

Being a vegetarian attending a steakhouse, I was a little nervous, however the Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and broccoli were divine! The others in my party said the steak was delicious. The atmosphere was very nice and quiet, with lots of people dressed up. Basically what you would expect of a fancy steakhouse. The dessert was amazing! I would come again. Definitely not a place to bring children, though.
Great service, large portions, wonderful bread. Practising social distancing, tables set wide apart. I had the aged cajun marinated rib eye, Brussel sprouts with bacon, a 3 glass red wine tasting, and the molten lava cake for dessert. All delicious, took leftovers home. Dining room was empty.
Great food, nice staff but definitely a different feel with this pandemic. I'm glad that the restaurants are open again for indoor dining. Might just go back to have an amazing experience.
Best steak I ever had; melted like butter in my mouth! We also had soft, warm Onion Bread with fresh creamy Butter, the Macaroni and Cheese with huge chunks of Lobster, Creamed Spinach, Jumbo Asparagus, Sour Cream Potatoes, Prime T bone, Filet Mignon, Prime New York Strip and Prime Cajun Ribeye. The entire meal was delicious and the service was superb!!!
