Upon arrival, it seemed that there wasn’t a host and a disgruntled man told us to follow him. He saw an empty table and quickly changed the tablecloth. He said this was our table. It was as if they didn’t expect us even though we had a reservation. Our reservation was late and one of the first things our server told us was that the kitchen was closing soon. I didn’t feel any sense of true care or hospitality. My partner and I don’t get to go out often since we have a newborn so we had a sitter especially for this night. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque, and poke to start - all were underwhelming. Not bad, not great, just okay. And then we split the 42oz porterhouse with a side of fries, onions & mushrooms, and mashed potatoes. Again, everything was underwhelming. We ended up returning the mashed potatoes (gritty and almost as bad as instant mashed potatoes). The onions and mushrooms looked stewed rather than sautéed, and the fries at any other establishment would have been better. Very sad and disappointed to have spent 350 (including tip) for a sub-par Valentine’s dinner. Definitely not worth the reputation or money.

Morton's... You always expect high standards. Generally great food this week though, when you cook steaks for a living and a customer orders medium rare on a 70 Ribeye, how could you possibly serve a well done steak? Service friendly, large side dishes tasty, bacon steak appetizer and scallops fantastic. I'll go back but expect higher expectations. They did re-cook a steak for me and I took home.

Harris did not disappoint. We all had a variety of different dishes and they were all great. One ordered the filet minion which was cooked to perfection according to her liking. Another had the chicken which she said was fantastic. I had the chops which were just amazing. Cooked medium rare and came with a fantastic chutney style sauce. We had one vegetarian friend who enjoyed the potatoes bit wish were more sides for her to choose from. The ambiance was relaxed and elegant. The staff was attentive and quick.
Had the Loveliest Time on Love night last night. It was my 1st time. But we will Definitely be back.
