Lovely fish and chips. Service could improve slightly, with the pandemic most places have joined the times with having orders phoned in for collection, it saves on people standing outside and reduces the time in the shop ordering, when we phoned to collect, we were made to feel very uncomfortable and although they agreed to let us place an order by phone they made it very clear they weren’t happy about doing it, lots of questions and comments made about us doing it. My husband said he would collect on his way home from work and the owner actually said.. well, why can’t your wife just come and place the order in store. Mr chip man the real question is.. why can’t we order to collect? Happy with the chips and fish that we had though! Thank you.

I had a moan when one order was in my opinion not up to scratch. Next order was perfect. Good size, crispy batter and fresh perfectly cooked fish.
Top notch chip shop the food is cooked to order and is always delicious! Would highly recommend a visit.
