Last night (Christmas Day) about 9pm we rang to book a taxi a bit in advance expecting them to be busy but were told that no taxi was available for about an hour and to phone back in an hour. I asked if we could book as we can wait an hour or so but the receptionist wouldn’t let us. This could have resulted in another hour or so waiting possibly getting no taxi without booking so decided to phone another service and was told there was at least half an hour wait but they let us book. Why wouldn’t Coastal let us book? An hour’s wait isn’t an excuse to turn customers away especially as it wasn’t too late.

The security are unbelievable. You have no option but to stand out in the rain as standing in their doorway is a security risk. Their supposed boss drove us home who's belief is that their staffs comfort is more of a priority than their customers. When explained that they won't have any customers due to their processes he said that basically they do not care. I wish 424 the best for the future but all our future custom will be put through 848 who offer their customers safe and secure waiting area out of the rain.
