From start to finish, renting a property from More, has been really efficient, quick and easy
like
We have been looking for a new home to rent because current landlord is selling up. Viewed a couple of unsuitable properties and have had no more sent to us by email since. In fact what properties we have viewed and liked, we are told they are already under offer. Why arrange a viewing if a property is already under offer? All letting agents on the Island are far too laid back if you ask me.
A very positive experience as tenants. The guys and girls and more lettings were very kind and patient with us, clearly explaining next steps and asking questions where we had them. They really don't mess you about and have sensible fees (although bring on July). Great company.
Didn't get orignal property wanted, was initially a bit upset, but staff were actually quite helpful, and rung up after to try and find another property for us. Staff on phone polite, and booking to veiw was quick. The hunt continues....
Unfortunately I had a very poor experience with More Lettings. During our time with them, on more than one occasion, they neglected to inform us that the landlord had arranged to have tradesmen let themselves in to our property. Once, I woke up to the sound of two totally unexpected tradesmen letting themselves into our home! A horrible experience! We had received zero notice. Another time I came home to find scaffolding had been erected all around our home in order to carry out lengthy, extremely noisy repairs that we, again, had not been informed of. More lettings were fine when it came to collecting the rent and friendly when we went in to the office but sadly their communications were sometimes lacking to the point of totally unnecessary, completely avoidable, and sometimes genuinely frightening disruptions. I have never written a bad review before and hate to be leaving one, especially considering how polite they were in general, but this experience has really stayed with me.
