I am using comma products from early 90s. My vehicles engines are in perfect condition my confidence is with comma.a friend from Greece
I use to work here, I bought this screenwash in January 2017 for a little over cost price, it was manufactured in July 2016, I opened it for the first time in March 2018, after 3 weeks this is what was growing inside the product. It’s either mould or bacteria growth. This is what happens when you buy product from a company pushing too hard for cost savings rather than producing a quality product purely to send more profits back to the Brazilian owners of this once great British company. Note: This was growth after only 3-4 weeks being stored inside my apartment, before I opened the bottle I didn’t notice any contamination so the microbes had gotten in after I had opened the product for the first time and poured the product into my car. I can only imagine what growth could have been happening in my car, I’ve since flushed the system with -65 winter screenwash in a hope that the high alcohol concentration in it will stop any further growth from this substandard product. Yes I contacted a number of people at Comma about it, the best answer I got was “I think we diluted the product too much to reduce costs” I’ve now thrown out all the other products I bought while working at Comma and will not be using it in my personal vehicles going forward as I’m someone who cares about my vehicles and someone who understands that substandard parts and fluids end up costing more in be long run. I have kept the original sample from the pictures in case I am accused of tampering with the product. I am more than happy to provide a sample to Comma for testing if they wish. I’m sure nasty things may be said about me, but if the product I bought from them did what it was meant to do (as the product contains biocide in it to prevent such microbial blooms), then I wouldn’t have these images...
Terrible company, they don’t flush their oils properly between blends, they are selling antifreeze claiming to be approved by OEM even though they were just using tap water to mix their products even after Mercedes Benz tested the product and found it didn’t meet their criteria and informed Comma about it. Second grade product at second grade pricing. If you don’t want your vehicle to last, use Comma products
