This small museum has been closed for more than ten years. Revillon Freres was the French fur trading company that set up shop in Moosonee in opposition to the Hudson Bay Company. It was eventually bought by the Hudson Bay Company. The building was once a house for a Revillon Freres employee and family. The Town of Moosonee operated the museum. The historic artifacts are still inside.
