Lovely shop by a Polo field. Produce high quality but not stupidly priced. Staff really pleasant and helpful. Beautiful run down the lanes to get there too. Only 4 stars as not too much choice when we went. Will go again when in th area and looking forward to BBQ the goodies bought...

If you want a mashed potato pie then this is the place for you. Unfortunately, I wanted a cottage pie. Bought a frozen cottage pie today from moor farm today as I couldn’t be bothered to cook tonight. Well that was a mistake. Whilst it smelt delightful and rather mouth watering whilst heating, it was a great disappointment once I started to serve it. It was mostly mashed potato, I would say less than 10% meat. Whilst the mash potato was nice, I was expect at a minimum 50% potato to meat ratio. Not 90/10. Although I live in Baschurch I have become more and more disappointed with Moor Farm. I’m a firm believer in supporting local business but Moor Farms standards have dropped over the years whilst their prices have continued to rise. This is why I usually make the 10 minute drive to battle field farm shop (which is excellent). As the weather was atrocious today I decided to return to Moor farm and purchased the cottage pie mentioned above. Sadly it would appear they have not improved, to the contrary, they have got even worse. There is soo much potential with this shop but the extremely long waits for hot food (served cold) in the café, coupled with sneaky tricks of hiding a scrap of meat beneath a mountain of potato in their cottage pies along with their rising costs means sadly, I will only return when there is noo other choice. Such a shame as it could be soo much better.
