I have been ting time we are in - deserves here many times and always have a good experience. Any restaurant that can pull off a good experience in this interesting time we are in - deserves a huge shout out. Thank you for all that you do and the extra miles you now have to go to keep your doors open... Thats the reason for the five stars. The ambience is great. You are right on the ocean, waves crashing. What a great pace to have the so cal experience. The food is good, they have something for everyone, yes a vegetarian can eat here... and most likely a vegan. Drinks fun ad flavorful. Our service was great. The server worked hard to make sure our birthday dinner was a great experience for all.

We had an amazing time here. We love the cliff's edge Blue Terrace and the spectacular sunset views. The foods are good here too. For today’s Valentine’s Day, we decided to come here for their special Valentine’s Day dinner set. The dining experience didn’t disappoint us. We will be back to try their regular menu. The Valentine’s menu included selections of appetizers that featured lobster soup and skewed shrimp. Several of their favorite dishes were offered for the main course which showed case their Chilean sea bass, rack of lamb and filet mignon steak. I chose the soup while my wife ordered the skewed shrimp. Both were delicious. I like my soup the best, cream and tasty. For the main, I had the salmon and my wife chose the Chilean sea bass. My salmon had very good taste buy it was a bit over cooked. So it was hard to eat it. But my wife’s sea bass was cooked to perfection. I had a bite and it tasted fantastic. The fish was so tender and full of flavor. They also used black rice to go with the fish. It tasted so good. I helped my wife clean up the plate by eating what she had left. The desserts were amazing. We had 3 desserts, cheese cake, cream brûlée, and chocolate soufflé cake. I liked the brûlée and the soufflé cake the best. The desserts had just hit the spot for me and gave us a perfect ending to our Valentine’s evening!
Went here for the first time last night. Great view, literally on the ocean. The menu was delicious and the serve was amazing. Valet Parking was only 10 as well, not bad considering the area and how nice the restaurant was. Prices were expensive but worth it. Would come here again. Menu was digital and you scan the photk below with ykur phone . Instant menu, thought that was cool.
Delicious Tuna Tar Tar!! (Happy dance) The beet salad was okay. I feel like it’s missing something. I had a bite of someone’s burger with bacon and avocado... so BOMB! yum yum The bread was perfect. Slightly toasty on the outside, soft on the inside. Amazing views here right by the coast
To eat at the beautiful Moonshadow right on the water you need a reservation. You'll show up and someone will park your vehicle for you. You'll be directed to a line and let the door man know your party name. A lovely hostess will then come out to seat you. The view is right over the ocean in Malibu. Which makes their dining experience exquisite. To add and perhaps the most important part... their food! They have a large menu that is well under priced for what they offer, and great proportions. Each dish is brought to your table in a timely manner with great presentation. Your first bite is more than rewarding.
