Beautiful place for nature and hiking lovers. If you're lucky enough and get thw timing right you can even enjoy peace and quiet.

A pristine and clean beach With clear water. This is a great place to spend a day with your family if you have the patience and physical strength to walk for at least half an hour! The nearest parking lot is about half an hour away. To get to the beach, you have to go down a hill, which, although it has stairs, the distance between the stairs is long and it may not be easy for everyone. There are no facilities or supermarkets around so have everything with you, especially drinking water. The beach is rocky and there is no sand, so be sure to bring special shoes.. The beach is suitable for children and dogs, but is not recommended for those who are physically disabled. There is no way for a wheelchair. This is a natural place, so there are no traces of toilets and showers. All in all, this is a beach that I love very much. The view of the Adriatic Sea from the top of the hill is unparalleled. But many guests complained about the difficulty of getting there, especially the return route, which is usually accompanied by high temperatures.

Beautiful Slovenian gem. Quite a hike, specially with kids - no stroller can make it so you gotta carry the little ones. Also watch out for the jellyfish with kids, otherwise excellent place, a total must see

A lovely view down to Moon Bay (not pictured) on the Strunjan Footpath a stunning 3.5km walk through the nature reserve. It passes along some of the highest cliffs of the Adriatic Coast and through vineyards and artichoke farms. A great view back to Piran at the start. Views across to Italy.

One of the nicest beaches in the area. A little bit remote and not very easy to find, but well worth the effort. Part if the natural preserve area. You can park in Strunjan at Hotel Krka or, if you are lucky, on the top of the hill by the church. Then you walk towards the white cross, turn right and walk down the cliff. Some parts of the path are steep, but well maintained. There are benches overlooking the bay where you can sit and enjoy the view. The rocky beach is long and narrow. There is not much shade that’s why the best time to visit is in the morning or late afternoon.

Beautiful place. It's available a free parking place at 18 min from the entrance (didn't see other parkings also with payment). Then it takes more or less 15 min. to reach the beach in a way between local houses and fields. Pay attention while descending. The beach cost is long but not much deeper. The better area is on the right side. I don't know the circumstances but while making snorkelling I could note some groups of small Jellyfishes so pay attention with children.
