This place is like faulty towers. They had almost run out of avocado for a smashed avo order by 7.30 so a toasted sandwich was the other order. But here’s the kicker, you have to cook it all yourself. Unknown to us the dodgy sandwich press and toaster tripped a circuit while cooking so we sat there for 10 minutes wandering why they were taking so long with no one bothered to check if everything was okay. After that was fixed, a lovely communal tub of butter was waiting for us to spread on the toast. Not sure the department of health would approve in these Covid days. Then the salt and pepper grinder given to us were both empty. Asking for replacements at least got us some salt but the new pepper grinder was empty too. To say the staff cared about any of this would be a stretch. They would have made Basil proud.

Great coffee with views across the water. Have a look at the locals queuing out the door and let that define your decision.
Robert Maccarrone, your description is absolutely correct Everything you described was the same for us today.
Disgusting soy latte. Really smart ar..s barista not even good coffee standard like Melbourne. Very monocultural non diverse cafe awful
Poor management & mistreatment of loyal long term customers. They "track" usage of loyalty cards by multiple staff watching for when you come in to buy coffee but this is very flawed and inaccurate as the staff can make mistakes, forget to mark it down or don't take cards that had stamps prior to the tracking period into account. They then assume the customer is cheating the system and deny they came in twice a day for coffee. Owner refuses to answer or return calls to try and resolve their mistake & misunderstanding. If they are going to accuse customers in this way they need to overhaul their system to be accurate & fair.
Great coffee but very noisy with a truck parked out the front for the entire time I was there.
Why do poor cafes always blame the soy milk for splitting? Learn how to steam soy and lose the attitude when I point out the split milk. Easy to blame something else rather than your lacking skills I guess...
Staff having fun and full of locals catching up so lovely atmosphere. Our coffees were unfortunately really weak tasting and one seemed to have the dregs from whatever the last order was in it.
