Love Love LOVE this place. Highly recommend it to anyone. Great friendly staff, covid safe, fantastic escape rooms. What more could you ask for. Will be back to try different rooms in the future. Highly energized feeling when you figure out the last clue and escape. 10 rating from me.

We did the basement room, The room itself was okay - we’ve gone quite a few escape rooms before and but this was definitely the lowest budget/ most basic one we’ve done. Being a small business we were happy to forgive this, but the staff’s attitude is what drove me to write this review. There was one staff member there (i’m assuming the owner). He was overall rude and arrogant which ruined the experience for us. Would not recommend at all. Very poorly run business.

My family tried the asylum last week and had a lot of fun! It was our kids first time doing an escape room and only our second. We ended up getting a few hints but had so much fun! Next time we are local we plan to do another room. Staff was very friendly and the room had a great backstory. Would definitely recommend this business!

Host was very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were good, challenging problems to solve. Would go back and try another.

Very disappointed with this basement escape room, paid 20 for scare factor and received a couple bangs on the wall during the first few minutes and that’s it. The escape room was very low budget, one of the locks (top drawer) was already undone which cut out some fun and confused the order of things. The two way radio was unanswered for over 5 minutes leading me to have to exit the room to find some help. Both of the coloured torches were out of battery and replacement batteries were brought in after much hassle during the event (again disturbing the atmosphere). Seemed to be no real storyline to the game. Some aspects were very difficult to do due to the wear such as the lines from letters to numbers on the back of the door due to the fade of the pen lines. Overall disappointed, considering 230 was spent and we were out in approx 30mins even with all the issues.

Had a really good time doing “The Basement” which is a 3 room escape room. One puzzle was somewhat confusing/misleading but we have fed that back so hopefully it will get fixed. We have done a few escape rooms in the past, but none for over a year. This room was rated moderately hard but we managed to do this one just in time and used the 3 clues. I recommend using the clues as there is nothing worse than getting stuck and not getting to the other sections of the room. Completing it is definitely more fun than not completing it and missing out on other puzzles.

We did the basement escape room, this was our first escape room experience and found it quite boring and not much of a challenge. Basically it involved opening 2 pad locks and a 6 coded locks using clues. No thinking or skill was required and the building/Rooms/ host and business seems very unprofessional and disappointing. Can not understand how the operators believe they can charge money for this lame rubbish.

I've done about 20 escape rooms with my family, and this is the first time I've been disappointed with the experience. We did "quarantine" at Mooloolaba, and in general found the room uninspiring, but our biggest issue was with the microscope puzzle. We knew what we were supposed to do, but we couldn't "see" the needed code. After about 5 minutes, we asked for assistance, and we got instructions which matched what we were already doing. So we spent more time trying to progress, without any further success. We asked for assistance again, and were told that we couldn't be given any more specific help, and we should just "keep trying". We took turns "trying" until the time ran out. After the game we asked for clarification from our assistant, and they claimed to be able to see the code in the microscope, but no one in our group could. All in all a very disappointing experience.
