Today I went to Emjays Mooloolaba. I have been to Emjays many before and my wife enjoys the Nutella Croissants you do. We received a cold croissant with no ice-cream in a paper bag. Not the experience we are used to.
We found the service good and beautiful coffee. Meals were nice. Kid friendly. I’d go back anytime
Nice coffee shop on the esplanade to sit and chat and look at the ocean.
Terribly rude staff, unpleasant, expensive drinks and rude disrespectful language in front of young children. Customer service was truly appalling. The Owners really need to consider the people they are employing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Steer clear of this place. I would rate this place negative stars if possible.
If I could rate Emjays Mooloolaba a zero star, I would. My experience with this cafe was less that satisfactory; the manners of the staff was horrible and disrespectful - they told me that I wasn’t aloud to eat inside at their tables, the drinks were overpriced and tasted appalling. The language used by the staff was disgusting as I went there with young family members. I do not recommend Emjays at all.
CUSTOMERS BEWARE! This place has appalling customer service and questionable ethics and standards by staff. I was ordering a coffee and sandwich for myself, and my son, his wife and 6 WEEK old baby were sitting at a table with me, and even though i was a paying customer, they asked my family to leave. LITERALLY SEPARATING OUR FAMILY. Heaps of empty chairs around. Absolutely poor service.
All I can say is try their chocolate cake! It is very delicious and compliments thw good coffee.
