If you want your property completely destroyed by tenants, and don't want to be informed about it until it’s too late, then Booom property management is the place for you. I never received a single inspection report from the time the property was tenanted, until after the tenants were evicted, and even then I had to ask 7 times, only to have them make the reports up on the spot. I took the matter through the REIQ, but the principle Jay, not only didn’t turn up, but didn’t bother to even send a representative. Now it’s over to the tribunal to have the issue resolved. I suspect the lack of concern from the principle is due to his advising in an email, that the business is under contract. I mean why would he care if he’s selling the business anyway.

It's obvious all the 5 star reviews on here are planted. Do not rent or rent out through this agency. They are so bad it is scary. I have no idea what the property manager does all day but she certainly doesn't answer emails or do her job. I contacted owner through my body corporate and she changed to a new landlord and everything is normal again. Very strange business
Listen to the 1 star reviews! This is by far the worst agency I have dealt with across 5 states. Rebecca Arandale 5 star review is (was) an employee and like other reviewers suggest all have been planted. The principal of the business is unprofessional at best and downright rude.
One of the worst businesses (let alone property management companies) I've ever dealt with. I was a tenant of one of the property's they manage, however if you are an investor, never let these people manage your property! They lack basic communication processes, everything seems extremely difficult for them. From moving in, to getting anything fixed and to moving out, there was always an issue or lack of communication. They were so bad that the owner of our property decided to ditch them 7 days before we were to move out of the property (which actually made the move out easier because the new company actually knew what they were doing).
Real estate stopped existing mid-tenancy, no contact (phone, email etc), office is abandoned, haven't been able to get contact anyone for over 2 weeks to deal with maintenance issues. One star is pretty generous. Edit - the company that is trading as Booom (Imoda Management) has filed with ASIC to wind up the company due to insolvency, so the company has gone properly closed and still no contact from anyone. If you are with Booom call the RTA asap for advice as you probably won't have an agent for a while.
So,Do I need to Continue to pay rent to Booom account ? Because I couldn’t contact the house owner. Anybody can give me some advice?
I used this agent for around 6 months, not once did they do an inspection although I asked them to a number of times. I had no idea what the tenants were like or how they were treating my property. I was asked to renew lease but I couldn’t as I still didn’t know how the place was etc, I asked for an inspection before I could renew… this took so long that the tenants lease was up and I was given a very short amount of time to find a new tenant (and new agent of course) which ended up costing us a month’s worth of rent income. I then tried to communicate with the agents, mainly management and principle, who ignored my correspondence, emails, phone calls etc to have the fees I paid refunded as they didn’t do anything for the fees. I believe I tried all I could to deal with this matter as an adult with adults…. And probably a bit old school these days instead of just writing a negative review and making a complaint to external bodies about them firstly. However, I received nothing but crickets from them which very disappointing considering I told them I would make complaints etc if they didn’t communicate and try resolve this matter. I would not use them again of course and I would not recommend any one use them. They probably do this all the time and most people just drop it. If you had issues with them I strongly recommend making a complaint and getting your money back.
Pay what you owe people, instead of partying on other people's money like it's your birthday, the worst business ethics I've ever seen, doing the right thing shouldnt be optional. Minus 10 star review
