The moment I walked into the La Maison d l'Astronomie I was so well received and totally surprised by the knowledge and alternative of devices in house. I did my web research and actually went to a couple stores outside of Montreal, including Toronto. Their price are right. What really did it was their dedication specially Mr. Jean Christophe who understood my needs and fulfill every aspect and assist me with every step to make a right decision to what I needed towards my exhibition. My situation was unusual. I am an artist having an exhibition that has just opened at Observatoire 360º Place Ville Marie Montreal. I bought 4 distinct Telescopes with different lenses, filters etc... Without their guidance throughout every step my creative work would have been extremely difficult. Mr. Jean Christophe made it easy, sound proof advise, became involved and made the process a total pleasure! Thank you JC and La Maison de L'Astronomie. Oh yes the exhibition is awesome!

Forget Internet, if you want to buy go to this store, you will save money twice. First because they have good price and second because you will buy correctly. You will receive very good advice and you will make a right decision. People are very nice and knowledgeable. Definitely recommended.
Great place first time buying a telescope. Highly recommend them, nice place and super nice staff help me with first telescope complete newbie they took the time to explain different models and what does what and we're not pushes at all, answer all my questions.Outstanding customer services
The owner, I believe, was incredibly helpful. We had to do everything by phone during the time of covid-19. i love the binoculars he suggested after a great discussion of what I plan to use them for. I can see anything I want. I have bad vision and this is the first time binoculars have worked for me. And he recommended a Monocular for my little grandson...excellent advice. excellent service.
