I'm a dutch tourist in montpelier, and my friend was atacked in the street, so when he got back to our air b&b house, and explained the situation while he was in shock, we called the police. And thats when things got worse. To begin with when i phoned the police i first spoke to a lady who could only speak french, no english at all, (i can't speak french very wel but my english is very good) she said some french words and connected me to another polliceman. But he did't speak much better english, but enough to kind of understand the situation. So he asked: where was it? I gave him the address of where the attack happend, and after 5 minutes of silence he replied: okay in 10 minutes you have to be there! I said that my friend was attacked there by a group of 20 men, so i'm not going there, that is just dangerous!!! He didn't quite understand so he asked for the address of our house, i tried to give him the address but it was like he wasn't listening. 13 minutes long i tried to explain where we are!!!!! This is stupid! It does not have to take so long to find out where i am!!! If i was in life treathening situation this could get bad verry quick!!! It was like the police wasn't taking me serious!!! They reapeated the address i tried to give them but it was a completely different address, thay said 10 minutes and broke the connection. They didn't come to us and our friend is still hurt and in shock, and don't forget that there are still 20 people out there that need to be taking care of!! This is not good police work, they should look after us and protect us!!! Its so weird that as an tousrist you don't feel safe because no one of the whole police department can speak english!! Very very very very bad police work!

Des jeunes et leurs voitures nous pourrissent la vie sur un parking jouxtant ma résidence, parking ouvert au public car c'est l'éternel question \c'est privé ou public ?\. De toute façon aucun équipage ne passe. Ça dure depuis bientôt une année. Du coup je n'appelle plus. Certes le tapage n'est pas une priorité mais les petits problèmes deviennent des gros! L'actualité démontre bien le problème d'insécurité dans cette ville.

Bassin Jacques Coeur Aux environs de 13H00. Plusieurs véhicules en stationnement plus que gênant, dont un bloquant l'accès à la place PMR. Une patrouille à vélo passe. Aucune verbalisation. L'un des agents est satisfait \on leur a demandé de partir\. Quant au véhicule qui bloque la place PMR, aucune action. Il faut faire preuve de tolérance selon le même agent... La note 0 n'est pas proposée, c'est dommage. La Mairie promet des patrouilles pour faire respecter la tranquillité du quartier. Où sont-elles ? que sont-elles ?

Place de la comédie, un samedi soir 20h, la place est pleine. Dont quelques personnes alcoolisées qui se battent. Mais aucun policier. Ce n est pas normal. La présence policière n est pas suffisante dans Montpellier. Carton rouge

Un voisin dans ma rue qui tous les soirs utilise sa disqueuse jusqu'à pas d'heure sans que je sache d'où ça vient exactement. La police me répond sur un ton agressif et dans un langage approximatif que c'est à moi d'aller voir qui dans quel immeuble avant de les appeler car sinon ils ne viennent pas. On hallucine. Nous sommes victimes de tapage nocturne 7j/7j et jamais un seul policier n'est venu. Il faut faire l'enquête de voisinage soi-même. C'est intolérable.
