A clean and well decorated restaurant. Service is a little slow with only 2 staff tending the cashier, counter, service for a couple of tables of guests. It is not sure if reservation is required as waiter appeared surprised to know we are walk in customers. The food portion is small, considering that price of each main course is on an average of 14 Euro. Maybe, the next time we will try out the economical option of set menu just for a better comparison. The taste of food is great, though not exceptionally impressed. Waiter served appetisers followed by main course in an orderly manner and without rush- this is very commendable. They are able to converse in limited english, and could be more proactive in the future. Perhaps, an additional staff can help improve the overall service experience.

I can say they prepare authentic indian cuisine. ambience wise ok looks old. service is good but can be better. i hope they will add some more indian dishes. Nan's are good.

Nice Indian restaurant in very quiet location. Owner is very kind and helpful. Food has more authentic Indian test.
Summary : good value for money, nice staff and good food Detailed review : I happened to read some of the reviews and was skeptical about visiting this place. After having the meal and coming back to my place, I realized why this kind of review might have been given. The cooks are having Bangla influence and the owner is from South India. Usually, the Indian restaurant is kind of expected to serve the Delhi-Punjab belt type of cuisine and anything which doesnt fit into this style of cooking is met with criticism. I ordered Dal tadka and it was made like a Locha Dal which is quite common in Kolkatta. If I had not eaten dal in Kolkatta, I would have said Dal tadka is bland, not prepared well etc. For a person like me, who has well traveled within and out of India, its perfectly fine for me to get a dal which would has influences of some region in India. Its would be too harsh to expect that every restaurant with Indian name, menu should taste like the one in Punjab or Delhi region. I would say, go out and try this place. It might give you a another perspective of the Indian food and its variety.
Good Indian choices and an extremely friendly staff that made sure we had all we needed at all times. This restaurant is very underrated, it is one of the few good choices in Montigny / SQY.
Good indian food. Ordered matar paneer and dal makhani. Rotis are a bit hard though but the taste of curry is good.
