We have done a dozen rafting trips in the past few years and this was by far the worst. Poor guiding and very rude owner. I definitely do not recommend.

Reading the feedback from some of the other people I can't believe it's the same company. I've been with Franceraft twice now; once with friends from work and once with my family and both times we had an absolute blast. Their attention to detail from the moment I called and spoke to Alain and Cara in the office to make the booking to the drinks offered at the end of the run was perfect, we felt very well looked after. As for safety, each time I went it was a very different experience each with a different guide. The first was with friends and we were all up for as much fun as possible. Our guide listened to our requests and we were obliged by being flipped over two times on the way down but due to our safety brief and the practice swim on the way down we all knew what to do and none of us ever felt scared or that our guide wasn't in total control at all times. Again when we went with the kids he made it as fun as possible within the limits of safety and although he didn't flip the boat this time the children still got to do their practice safety swim as well as practicing hauling each other in from the water in case anyone fell out. They absolutely loved it and can't wait to go again next summer. The equipment they provided was clean and in good condition and they're the only company I've rafted with that provide proper neoprene footwear specific for rafting. I can't recommend them highly enough. They listen to their clients and then provide a tailor made descent of the river picking and mixing all the activities possible to give you what you want. Big fat five stars!!!
Be aware that Franceraft does \fun\ rafting, i.e. the guide makes voluntary mistakes in order to throw clients into the water or even capsize the raft in the middle of whitewater. If you want a more safe & clean experience try another company. Note: safety equipment is old and poorly adapted to rafting.

France Raft on the top !!! Thanks Yannick - nicknamed The Yack!! - for these funny hours on Isere River ! A very safe company with a peaceful teacher with a true talent for animation. I learnt a lot on how having the right behavior in the raft and how to take care appropriately to my others partners. We played nicely with others boats and had a lot of fun : dont fear to get into the water!! :)
