The other day i bought a family meal for 6 of us and we ended up with left overs for days. It was amazing!!! It was so worth the money. The flavor of everything was great. I recommend giving them a try. My family and i will be back for sure.

I made a review for this place about a year ago and just deleted it to post this one instead. I originally said that the food was good but what was supposed to be a normal kinda quick dinner turned into a 2.5 hour dinner solely because of the wait times. I went back today and found that they've learned nothing. It ended up being another 2.5 hour dinner because of wait times however this time all of the food was cold and genuinely tasted like it was made an hour ago and when we asked a second time where our food was they threw it into the microwave real quick and hurried it out to us. Never again.
I have been coming here since I was a child, over 25 years, probably 30. I have fond memories of picking a trinket out of the sombrero, birthday dinners, and getting attached to servers. Sadly, the last two or three years they have fallen from favor. Last straw was when I talked this place up to family from out of town and was left embarrassed and hungry. When I took them (party of 4) the wait for food was over an hour, the fajita steak with steak and enchiladas was served cold in center, my sister in-laws order was wrong, service was horrible and when I complained (I hate complaining!) 10% of the bill was taken off. That steak and enchilada dish is expensive, I couldn’t eat it and you're only response was 10% off, no apology, no offer to replace it? I haven’t returned since then. I miss the old Monterey’s. This entire establishment needs a rehaul from top to bottom.
Very good place! The salsa is very good and the chips are homemade, which makes it even better. I ordered two cheese enchiladas, the enchilada sauce was very good and had a lot of flavor! The rice was a bit bland, and so were the beans. The service was okay, our waitress only checked on us twice, to get our drink order and to deliver our food. We had to ask the other waitresses to refill our drinks, and for the check. It is definitely has very good food at an decent price!
