Literally the best place in Monte Real to eat. Stayed in the city for 2 weeks with limited food options, and was still willing to hit up Paparica at least once a day. Staff was super friendly and helpful, especially with understanding the Portuguese I didn't know in the menu. For travelers on a budget, they're also affordable - there may be cheaper places in town to eat, but the quality you get for the extra is worth it. Pizzas were all made to order and excellent, and even the crust is delicious. Ambient music is lounge versions of classic American pop hits, so it's fun to try to pick out the ones you may recognize (my personal favorite was hearing the lounge version of \Smells Like Teen Spirit\ by Nirvana). Recommend to literally everyone.

Very very good pizza made with a real pizza oven. Restaurant is either brand new or recently renovated. Only criticism is that they could have put a little more toppings on the pizza
