MONSOON MAJESTIC INDIAN DINING

Absolutely gorgeous food and the new decor is very posh! Every course was amazing and the staff were really professional. Felt like I was dining in some top restaurant in London! Not sure if it is still run by the same people when it was called Jalsa but the naan breads are still the best around. Can't wait to go again.

We love this restaurant and the refurb is classy and extravagant. We were so looking forward to coming back. We were amazed, however, at the lack of utilisation of Covid guidance. Sat by the door, we had a 6 year old running between tables and messing with the balloons directly behind us. Annoying in normal times, the parents were oblivious and despite getting under the staff's feet, laden with trays of drinks and food, they didn't raise an eyebrow either. Some staff wore masks, some didn't. Some wore them under their noses, others under their chins. On a Friday night at 7pm it was already packed (which is great) but there was a table of twelve to our right and, as we watched the foyer fill up with another party of twelve, another couple ambled in right through them, on the off chance there was a table for two and were immediately accommodated. Happy for the restaurant. Confused that we were obviously the only ones who seemed to feel uncomfortable, given our understanding of the rules... Food as good as ever, service slow, as it was so packed. Overall, still won't go back yet.

Excellent food and service. Refurbished to a high standard. However, could only get house wines in individual glasses. Other concern, not sure that social distancing adhered to so this needs consideration.

Lovely meal with friends. One was nervous re Covid and we were moved and nothing to much trouble for the staff. Lovely atmosphere and loved the decor.
