Attended to view Monson Retirement home with a view to moving my Grandma from her current home. I met with the Manager who was very welcoming and professional. Whilst walking round the home it was clear that the residents appeared happy and well cared for - the staff had an excellent relationship with the residents. I arrived at lunch and I was told that each resident has their own dietary requirements and the chef and staff ensure that these are met. All in all I was blown away by the standards within the home and if I could give 10 stars I would. All residential homes should be at this standard!!

Thank you for the excellent CPD opportunity this morning. Both Claire and myself were impressed by the individualised care and high quality care environment at the retirement home. All staff made us feel welcome and it was clear that they focus on meeting all residents care needs and support them to remain as independent as possible. We look forward to sharing examples of your good practice with our learners.
All aspects of this establishment are perfect. Excellent care and activities. Everyone smiling in what is such a happy environment. The owner and his staff do a great job.
My Grandma has been into Monson Retirement Home for 2 weeks as she was not safe in her own home. My Grandma has said she would like to stay at Monson Retirement Home for good as she is loving having lots of people to talk to and there is always something to do there. I couldn't ask for a better place for my grandma to be as she is very happy and the staff are excellent and very friendly.
Monson Retirement Home is an amazing place with exceptionally well-trained staff who are kind and attentive to all the residents. My mother moved here after a spell in hospital. She was struggling to walk and was unable to look after herself. She is now a different person and more like to Mum I love and remember. The home worked hard with the CPN to correct the medication for her dementia and she is now happy and active. When we visit she always looks lovely and has made friends with a lovely group of ladies. If the weather is nice she is out most days in town having a coffee with other residents. Thank you.
